Custom Fields
Overview
MiaRec supports custom fields, which may be used for storing any data, like the order number, support ticket number, product name, call campaign, etc.
Once created, you can access custom fields on the extended call details page, under the Info section.
Create Custom Fields
To create custom fields, navigate to Administration > Customization > Custom Fields and click the Add button.
On the Add Custom Field page, fill in the following settings:
- Name - Provide a new custom field with a distinctive name.
- Tenant - Choose a tenant environment, where this custom field will be available.
- Description - Optionally, you may provide a description using this field.
- Field type - Specify the field data type. You can choose either Text, Date or Option.
- Field length - If the field is of Text type, specify a maximum length for an input value.
- Option - If the field is of Option type, define the list of available options.
- Editable - Select this check box to allow authorized users to edit the value directly using the inline editor on the extended call details page.
- Allow search - Allows you to make this field searchable in both Quick Search and Advanced Search.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Once the field is created, you can quickly locate it using the Quick Search panel at the top.
