File Path Rewrite Rules

The audio files are not stored in MiaRec database as objects, rather the file path is stored in the call details. Therefore, when audio files have been moved to other location and the file paths in the database have not been updated, you can use the File Path Rewrite Rules. These rules simplify the setup of MiaRec in a distributed architecture, when recording and web portal components are deployed on dedicated hosts.

To add a new file path rewrite rule:

1. Navigate to Administration>Storage> File Path Rewrite Rules and click Add.

   

2. In the Original File Path field, specify the original requested file path.

3. In the Rewrite To field, specify the target file path.

   

4. Click Save to apply your changes.
