Files Location
The Files Location section allows you to view/edit location of audio files and define the filename format.
By default, MiaRec saves the audio files into the local predefined folder. Changing the file location doesn’t effect the existing calls. If it is necessary to move the existing files to another location, then the File Relocation job must be initiated.
Info
In a decoupled architecture, the file location is local to the recorder application, not a web server.
To modify the location of audio files:
-
Navigate to Administration > Storage> Files Location and click Edit Configuration.
-
Check the following settings:
- Audio files directory - specify the directory for storing audio files
- Audio file name format - define the format of audio file name. This is very powerful way of configuring audio files location.
- File creation mode - specify the file system permissions for the recorded files (Linux only). Format is Unix-like. Default value:
664
