Single Sign-On Metaswitch CommPortal

MiaRec supports the Metaswitch CommPortal Single Sign-On user authentication. If enabled, MiaRec will verify the user credentials using the Metaswitch CommPortal application.

To enable Metaswitch CommPortal web portal user authentication:

  1. Navigate to Administration > User Authentication> Metaswitch CommPortal.
  2. Click Edit Configuration.

  3. Fill in the following fields:

    • Enable - select this check box to enable the Metaswitch CommPortal Single Sign-On user authentication.
    • CommPortal URL - specify the URL of Metaswitch CommPortal application. The URL should be in the format: https://<domain-name>/<path-to-commportal-customization>

  4. Optionally, under the Test Connection Settings section, you can test if the connection to the Metaswitch CommPortal application is working by specifying the credentials to a test Metaswitch CommPortal user account and clicking Test a Connection.

  5. Save your settings.

After that, on each user's profile you need to change Authentication type to Metaswitch CommPortal.
